It can be used as an external SMTP server while still having searchable logs and statistics of every mail. Don’t worry about IPs or misconfiguration once this is configured. It is a service by MailChimp capable of sending e-mails trough a REST API.
1. Open /etc/exim.conf.local file in an editor and look for the @AUTH@ section. Modify it to look like this:

driver = plaintext
public_name = LOGIN
hide client_send = : your@email : api_key
your@email : Your madrilla email
api_key : API key. You can find it in your account settings under “SMTP & API Credentials”
Now look for the @PREROUTERS@ section, and modify it to look like this:

smart_route:
driver = manualroute
domains = ! +local_domains
ignore_target_hosts = 127.0.0.0/8
transport = auth_relay
route_list = * smtp.mandrillapp.com
no_more
TRANSPORTSTART@ section:

port = 587
hosts_require_auth = $host_address
hosts_require_tls = $host_address
Now open /etc/exim.conf.localopts and add this line
smarthost_routelist=*: smtp.mandrillapp.com
This can be added via WHM too from the location,

Save the file and update exim using the below command,
/scripts/buildeximconf
service exim restart
