MySQL upgrade result in the following error on accessing PHP,

php -v
unable to find so file libmysqlclient.so
This can be fixed by following the below steps.
1. Take the backup of libmysqlclient , using the command whereis libmysqlclient
/usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so
2. Change the mysql version(mysql-version) to be upgraded from cPanel config file "/var/cpanel/config/cpanel.config"
3. Take backup of all
databases -- cp -pr /var/lib/mysql -> /backup
php extension modules -> Find the php extension directory from php.ini and copy the modules
apache modules -> cp -pr /usr/local/apache/modules /backup
php.ini and upgrade the mysql using the command,
/scripts/mysqlup
4. Once complete, give php -v generate error as ,

unable to find so file libmysqlclient.so

To fix this ,
mv /backup/libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0 /usr/lib/
vi /etc/ld.so.conf
/usr/lib64 -64
/usr/lib -64
ldconfig
Done

unable to find so file libmysqlclient.so
