2. In your browser, open http://example.com/emergency.php.
3. As instructed, enter the administrator username (usually admin) and the new password, then click Update Options. A message is displayed noting the changed password. An email is sent to the blog administrator with the changed password information.
4. Delete emergency.php from your server when you are done. Do not leave it on your server as someone else could use it to change your password.
To reset normal wordpress account password.
1. Login cPanel, click on phpMyAdmin under Databases
2. Select your WordPress database. For example: Username_wrdp1.
3. Go to wp_users, click on Browse.
4. Look for your Username and click Edit…
5. Reset your password by inserting a new value into user_pass. Remember, it is case-sensitive.
6. Once you completed this, click the dropdown menu under Function, and choose MD5 from the menu.
7. At the bottom of the page, click the Go button.
Reset via FTP,
Go to domain homedir-public_html->/wp-content/themes/(your active theme)/", download the functions.php file.
1. Open functions.php and add the code below right after the first <?php:
wp_set_password('YourNewPassword',1);
2. Replace YourNewPassword with your desired new password. The "1" in the script is the user ID number in the wp_users table in phpMyAdmin.
3. Once logged in, remove the code.

1.Navigate to the homerir-> Public_html->wp-contents/themes director, and rename the current active theme and try to login.
2 Incompatible plugin also can cause this issue. Rename the plugin folder under the location “.homerir-> Public_html->wp-contents -> plugins, and , mv plugins to plugins.bak and try login.
Memory issues. Allowed memory size exhausted.
1. Change the PHP memory limit in php.ini memory_limit=XM
2. Under the domain public_html, edit the .htaccess file and increase the memory parameter,
