If you come across error with CSS files are not showing correctly, or to parse css files to a virtual host, add the css handler. This can be added by adding the following handler in apache conf,

AddType application/x-httpd-php .css
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .css
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
If this needed to be added to a specific virtual host, add it as below,

<Directory /location of Document root>
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .css
AddType application/x-httpd-php .css
</Directory>
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
If this throws mime type is different, pass the mime type as below,

Header set Content-type "text/css"
</Files>

Combining both, add as below,

<Directory /Location of dicument root>
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .css
