If you check,
php -m | grep imagick
imagick
and if this is not listed, follow the steps below,
Download imagemagick from the URL,
ftp://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/imagemagick/
unzip ImageMagick-x.x.x.zip
cd ImageMagick-x.x.x
./configure
make
make install
You need to install perl magick also.
cd /usr/src/ImageMagick-x.x.x.x/PerlMagick/
perl Makefile.PL
make
make install
Some php scripts need imagick need to be installed.
Download imagick from,
http://pecl.php.net/package/imagick/3.1.0RC1
tar -xvzf imagick-x.x.x.tgz
cd imagick-x.x.x0/
phpize
./configure
make
make install
You need to add the extension file extension=imagick.so in the php.ini file. You can check the version of imagemagick using the following command
convert -v
You can check whether imagemagick and perl magick installed successfully using the following command
/scripts/checkimagemagick
